40th Annual IATUL Conference Perth, Western Australia
Prof Sharon Parker

We are thrilled to introduce you to the second of our keynote speakers for IATUL 2019 Perth, Professor Sharon Parker.
Sharon K. Parker is an ARC Laureate Fellow and Professor of Organizational Behaviour at the Curtin University where she is currently Director of the Centre for Transformative Work Design. She has worked as a researcher and consultant in a wide range of public and private organizations.

Her research focuses on job and work design, and she is also interested in employee performance and development, especially in regards to proactive behaviour, change and well-being.

Professor Parker is also an Honorary Fellow at the University of Western Australia and an Honorary Professor at the University of Sheffield, where she was previously Director at the Institute of Work Psychology. She has published more than 100 refereed articles with over 17,000 citations and attracted competitive research funding worth over $40 million.

Professor Parker’s keynote on the Future of Work will open the day’s program on Tuesday 25 June.

IATUL SIG-ALICE Coaching Programme

Call for Participants:

The IATUL SIG-ALICE Coaching Programme invites applications from experienced library managers/leaders to act as coaches to Cambodian library directors/managers for a limited, one-year period beginning in June 2019.

Applications must include a CV and a brief statement addressing why you are interested in serving as a coach and what areas of expertise you would bring to the partnership.

About the Programme:

The SIG-ALICE Coaching Programme aims to contribute expertise and support for the further development of library services in emerging countries such as Cambodia, our first focus. Coaching is task-oriented, performance driven and takes place within a defined one year time period.
