IATUL also offers multifaceted possibilities for your personal development and engagement.

You can participate in IATUL events, such as the yearly conference, to hear about exciting projects and trends as well as to get in touch with other leaders in your profession.

To encourage global participation the IATUL Travel Grant Programme provides financial assistance to library and/or information professionals from developing countries to attend the annual IATUL Conference.  
Besides the grant for the conference, you can participate in the IATUL International Study Programme.  The Study Programme provides funding for staff from a member library to travel to another member library, for a period of at least two weeks to investigate current issues of importance to IATUL libraries.

The IATUL Special Interest Groups give you a platform for working on your specific point of interest with colleagues from other IATUL member libraries.
